First summit!
It was cold and windy, but the views were great, and there was no one else on the trail. Great first summit.

70 Peaks In 30 Days
This was part of a month long solo peakbagging trip in which I hiked every day and got 70 peaks in 30 days. I hiked up Black Mountain and El Paso Mountain earlier the same day.
For numerous photos and brief route descriptions see the trip report.

A nice desert peak outing
Climbed this along with Black Mountain. Sadly the dust was so intense the normally excellent views were stunted. An easy climb well worth doing.

Windy Day
Parked off of Hwy 395 and followed a very old Jeep track to the north ridge. Fun scrambling to the very windy summit.

Blazed our Own
Hiked from 395 straight up the valley where the water would flow between the 2 mountains directly in front of you. Took the Saddle to the False peak where there was a big flag pole. Then hoped onto that saddle over to Red Mt. Great views on a great day. poured some brew out for the fallen comrades and decided to blaze our own path straight down the side of Red. Not very brightand very dangerous

On the way back from San Jacinto
Think I only did the middle peak after spending the night in the area on my way back to the SF bay area.
I climbed it in December 2008 and in December 2009.

Started at Cuddeback Road, went cross country to top. Great little hike, great views, but the wind was fierce. Lots of neat etchgings from visitors to the top from about 100 years ago. Trip Report (5-23-10)
