This spectacular view is seen from around timberline on Going to the Sun Mountain, early in the morning during our ascent of GTTS and Matahpi Peak. This view is looking southwest toward (left to right) mighty Mount Jackson, one of Glacier's challenging 10,000 footers, Fullisade Peak, Gunsight Mountain (in the back), Heavy Runner (foreground) and last but certainly not the least, the impressive Reynolds Mountain, one of Glacier's collection of true glacial horns. Reynolds is certainly one of Glacier's well known and photographed peaks, and is also a popular climbing objective. I'm surprised this view, seen from another of Glacier's popular mountains, has not appeared on SP until now. Glacier National Park, Summer, 2006.
