GreatThat's a brilliant photo - but for people like me in foreign climes , can you explain the phenomenon? Is it a small tree that get's weighed down by accumulated ice?

Basically, yeah... there's a little tree under there. The wind was coming mostly from one direction (strongly!) and this caused the tree to be bent over as the snow & ice piled up on it. Eventually it tipped over enough that the circle was complete. Or... it could be two trees that ended up 'kissing.'
