If you choose to drive, a high-clearance 4x4 with a short wheel-base and no paint will be appreciated.

Looks...

as if the terrain and the vegetation will soon take care of the "no paint" part of the equation.

Indeed...we had a Tacoma temporarily stuck, a long-bed Chevy full-size slide sideways with 3 tires spinning in the air. My Rubicon fared well, but I had the swaybar released and front and rear lockers engaged (just for fun, I guess). Still, I have some serious beauty marks and "Arizona Pin Stripes" on her now. :( :( :( Higher up, the vegetation really closes in on the road and just tears up your paint. :(
