6 Dumpster Day
Left Edmonds early in the morning and started with Boistfort, Capitol, Larch and Rock Candy, then drove over to Rock Peak 3320' which took 4 hours because of 5 feet of snow, then ended on the true summit of Gold Mountain before taking the ferry back to Edmonds.

The Most Luxurious Summit
I kept asking Eastking as we were driving up "so where's the trail head? Before long we were on the summit with the car. It was nice though.

Unfortunately drove up
We were looking for the trailhead until our car reached the summit. I have to go back to earn it with my feet on a decent day. Maybe a good after surfing mountain. BEST VIEWS OF THE PARK!!!!!

Taking candy from a baby... mountain.
By far the best views of all the peaks in the Black Hills. Shamelessly drove to the top. Saw a lot of people getting their muddy 4x4 groove on.

Rock Candy
I recall there being some nice forest but the top had some scalpage.

Drove To The Summit
The gate was open, so I took a chance and drove to the summit. The views were spectacular... easily the best I had seen from any peak in the Black Hills/Capitol Forest region. I also walked along the Rock Candy Mountain Trail for a short distance.
