Ascending a very steep snow-covered slope through young evergreen forest to the saddle that connects the two summit contour hills of Rock Peak. With exactly 2000' of clean prominence, Rock Peak is one of Washington's mountains with at least 2000' of prominence... albeit barely making that list. Photo taken on April 9, 2011.
