I took this picture above Bonanza Trail in the gully leading to McFarland Peak's saddle.
This plant was abundant throughout the whole gully.
Rock Spirea (Petrophyton caespitosum) belongs to the Rose family. It likes limestone ledges and rocks, pinyon-juniper woodland and coniferous forests between 6000 to 10,000 feet.
