View on the main ridge from Obârsia-Rebri in 2009. Virtually no change since 1941, the mountains are still predominantly wild! (You may notice a larger patch of Pinus mungo got converted to grazing land, though) (Rodnei Mountains, 10. Aug. 2009.)

Rodnei...yeah !

fabulous one...I've got the same capture that will be published here soon, but made in different light conditions, I called that "sunny ridge"...yeah, with my favourite bivouac place at Saua Intre Izvoare to the right, magic.

That's a great campsite indeed. Did you camp in the crag or behind the spring?

We camped on some grassy terrace closer to Repede, taking water from a small spring in some kind of ridge trench nearby... having the view towards the long valley going to the southern side of the mountains and straight to that beautiful side Rodnei ridge with peaks of Mires and...to be honest I don't remember more names in it, but it looked gorgeous evening or morning. Not to mention views at dawn and these horses, fairy tale. That was all I was looking for there!
