Ron

Hey Scott, do you know Ron's history...I see him up there with his wife(?) all the time busting up this trail in the mornings. I'm curious when he started hiking this trail and how often he really does hike it. I love this trail for trail running hill repeat training with my best ascent time being 16 minutes. No doubt Ron rivals that time!

Re: Ron

don't know his detailed history, but i can surely find out. it was mostly the guys he worked with in ISR that called it the "Ron Harper Trail," and it kinda stuck with our little crowd. do you know of any other names for the trail? my best time is 19 minutes, but it was more of a brisk hike rather than a trail run. i don't think i could keep up a jog going up that!

Re: Ron

I found out recently through a mutual friend that Ron has been hiking this trail for about 8 years and was doing it once or twice every morning before work for about 5 of those years. I believe he is still hiking it but at a reduced frequency.
