Dayhike
Completed a thru hike from the meadows up to Incline Peak and then followed the TRT to bag Peak 9773, Rose Knob Peak, Rose Knob, Peak 9499 & Rifle Peak. The trail was crowded with dayhikers, runners & TRT thru-hikers. Ran into a man training for the Sierra Challenge coming down Peak 9773 and a had a decent chat. Peak 9499, although only a rock outcropping deserves a name. Rifle Peak on the other hand is merely a bump and is lame, I always assumed 9499 was Rifle from the lake, prepare to be disappointed.
Approached from the Jessica Street trailhead. No visible trail over the snow, but just followed the ridge line up with no problems. The final approach was mostly bare and we made good time. Back before noon with plenty of time to jump into the lake.
Perfect weather, had a couple cold beers on the summit and enjoyed the views of Big Blue for a couple hours until the smoke got too bad. There was even a smile on my dog's face while chilling on the summit.

From the Mount Rose TH, I hit the regulars on this segment of the TRT: Relay Peak, Rose Knob Peak, Rifle Peak and Mount Baldy.

First stops along the way to Rose Knob and Mount Baldy. Excellent views from the peaks and along much of this section of the TRT.

Pretty Cool Summit
Of the summits in the area, I think the best one. Descended through canyon that runs into Third Creek and got a ride back to my truck off Hwy 431. Beautiful day. Four others on summit today....and a dog

Ski ascent/descent
Skinned up the sw ridge of Rose Knob Peak with mi hermano coming from the neighborhood culdesac below. Peak bagging while skiing at Tahoe is just such a great time. How can you beat these views of the lake?

TRT from Martis Peak Area
Hit Rose Knob Peak along with Mt. Baldy, Rifle Peak and Rose Knob. Also tagged the Placer COHP. Had some thundestorms in the vicinity while hiking.
