3rd peak of the loop, no summit register up top...just a barren round top. Oh, so that's how it got its name!

Partial Loop
Did Rabbit, Granite and Round Top on a very hot day. Very nice loop but with direct sun on the entire route I ran low on water and decided to leave Iron # 3 for another day.

Loop trail
Nice day with a crisp breeze -- solo with Coco, my dog. Hardest part of the hike was actually Rabbit as I waited to find a place to climb off the road that Coco could do. Picked the west slope with the thickest brush I've ever been through (including George Creek) -- cost us about 25 minutes of bushwacking time. The rest of the hike was reasonable.
Little hard to find sign-in can, but its there, under a tree.

The Loop
What Bob said. This was actually pretty enjoyable in the dark, even with the inadvertent bushwhacking en route to the last peak.

The Loop
Did the 4-peak loop after doing 9 other peaks in the area earlier that day with Matthew. City lights from the ridgeline at night were kinda nice. Trip Report

The Loop
Did the loop including Rabbit Peak, Granite and Iron #3. About 11 miles with 4,000 feet of gain so a good workout if you go at a brisk pace.

With GraniteBeautiful day, with just enough of a breeze to keep things cooler without being windy. An interesting perspective on the Front Range and Big T...
