Rugged Wildhorse Ridge

This is the ridge that forms the east wall of Wildhorse Canyon and runs south from the summit. Clearly this ridgline is one of the more rugged features of Southeast Oregon.

Steens

WOW! These pictures of the Steens and Alvord with snow are just incredible! Not a lot of people get over there when the whole area is covered with it, but the snow really makes it looks awesome.

Thanks, this is the most snow I have personally seen this low in the desert. I believe snow regularly falls on the alvord, but it doesnt stick around for long.
