Central Summit
I spent the night at Bloomington Lake with my wife and two daughters. It was an easy backpack into the lake, and it is a really beautiful area. The next morning my brother and I climbed up a gully just to the west of the central summit. It was a steep, short climb. From the top, we were right above the lake. Great views.
My first hike in the Bear River Range was to Bloomington Lake. I always wanted to go back and climb the mountain above it. The weather was very warm. I made it to the top of all three summits without any difficulties. It is a fun mountain to climb if you are in the area.
