Best views in San Diego
Started at dawn hiking with my 2 sons.....
WONDERFUL hike over paved road to marvelous views above the clouds over Otay and San Diego from summit. Why this route was closed is beyond me as all the broadcasting equipment is behind barbed wire fences and inaccessible. It really should be reopened

Dry and dusty
Nice hike. Well worn trail, the hardest part is finding the trail head in the subdivision.

Cool peak, good hike.
Tough but fun, hot in the summer so I wouldn't do it again until fall/winter but great workout. Views to south are great, all other directions kinda suck because of all of the broadcast equipment but still a worthwhile hike. NOT on the HPS list though.

From Echo Valley
Parked at the end of Echo Valley Road and followed the jeep trails to the paved road and up (AKA the "Illegal Route"). Views are fantastic from the summit!

Great hike
Great hike. Helped a worker on top load his trailer with old rusty metal beams. Good times!
