My favorite place to go in Utah every year. Many, many challenging day hikes and scramble routes and a growing list of backpacking trips over the years. Some day I would like to have explored every nook and cranny I can find, and maybe some day I will share some more of my findings here. But for now, I'm gonna keep exploring and hold onto my secrets! Well, probably not exactly "secrets", but places to go and things to see that are very, very precious to me!
Visited again this year, hiked in Goblin Valley and hiked Ding and Dang Canyons the next day, didn't run out of water this time.

Fantastic Location
Been here on three different trips; one in each of the past three years. First time we drove down, played in the Valley of the Goblins, camped, then got up, checked out some petroglyphs, hiked Crack Canyon, hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon, then went home, great first trip here. Second time drove down, played in the Goblins, camped, then got up, hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon, hiked Ding Canyon, then went home, another excellent trip. Third time, drove down, played in the Goblins, camped at one of the Park's campsites, then got up, hiked Ding and Dang Canyons, took a break, played in the Goblins for quite a while, hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon at night, camped near its TH, then got up, hiked Crack Canyon, and went home at last, this last trip was the most spectacular by far. Amazing location, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in unparalleled scenery!
many trips, nice solitude, great camping, several canyons - lovely place to explore (there is so much to do) .
Climbing - B crags, D and E crags, and O crags and some other crags and some towers.
Multiple trips to the Swell over 6-8 years or so. Some extremely cold camping trips in winter and likewise, some delightful swimming holes while canyoneering in summer.
Have even done some 4x4-ing.
Solitude is guaranteed here. One of my favourite places in Utah.
a vast land of opportunity with lovely known climbs and many untouched, mind boggling options to discover amongst the unknown. what a place! there's nowhere else like it.
sept '14- first tower in the northern swell, window blind(5.7/3P) and pinnacle benchmark for a sweet birthday weekend!
