been a while and wanted to go back on the route Joseph and i put up. This is a scramble up the east ridge.
It was easier then I remembered after I found the one spot to get above the wall.

S/E RIDGE
Joseph and I treked across the desert from FIRST CREEK PARKING AREA.
Went to the south/east ridge and started our climb. It was 3rd class all the way with a few work arounds.Well cairned trail now.
The wind on top was really blowing,had to hang on several times to keep from going flying.
Next time we will go to SMR and park.
After an earlier failed attempt with MoapaPk and rockdude, DB and I returned with MoapaPk (who'd since done it successfully) and enjoyed both Fork and Sandstone.

Too many times
Davis and I first did this peak back in the late nineties. Our route is very dangerous with some loose descents.
