Saturday, July 12, 2003. This picture was taken by my girlfriend above me as I ascended toward the false summit of Evans along the Evans-Spalding saddle on the Summit Ridge Route. If you look closely, you can see the Grays-Torreys Saddle in the far background. Most of the Summit Ridge Route consists of this terrain.
