Recently got interested in highpoint lists, did Piños and Grouse today as well.

Hiked along with Pino & Grouse. Very cold and windy day with patches of snow

From Mt. Pinos
A really cold day, but a nice walk through the forest. Lots of clouds around the summit, so not much for views. Continued on to Grouse Mtn. and Cerro Noroeste.

I hiked this one with Steven and Tyrel Stembridge, Tyler Smith, Cody Cureton, Kody Seastrunk, and Asa Sackschewsky.

From Pinos
Watched a truck commercial being filmed on the road below the trailhead. Water trucks wetting the road and I've never seen so many people constantly polishing a vehicle that supposedly looks rugged.

From Mt. Pinos
Second hike in 5 months since badly spraining my ankle. Hit Mt. Pinos and Sawmill. Will come back in the spring to hit all 4 peaks in the area.

Kern County HP
Along with Pinos. Stepped on the summit, not knowing it was the summit. Figured it out a couple mins later after walking on the bald ridge that juts NE from the summit.
Grabbed this peak a number of times, and it is always a nice hike. Awesome views and a great workout!

Via Mt Pinos
While on vacation at beach home in Ventura, I decided to have a look at this area with my youngest son. Crisp Fall day. Hiked to both summits because I couldn't be sure of which was higher to my son's consternation.

Pinos Plus Trail
This was a decent hike. I don't think that huge cairn is at the top but whatever. I touched it no matter where it is.
Started with Cerro Oroeste, then Grouse, Sawmill and Mt. Pinos.

Hiked with Tom and Coco. All the way to Cerro Noroeste and back in snow.

There and back
with Travis and Coco under stormy skies. A little over 6 hours r/t from the parking lot below Mt Pinos. Included Mt Pinos, Sawmill, Grouse, and Cere Noroeste mostly in 1 foot deep unconsolidated (and tiring) snow.

One of four
Did the traverse to Cerro Noroeste from Pinos. I read that there is a second register on the ridge to the left before you get to the turnoff for the main cairn. The elevations are supposed to be very close.

Two peaks, two babes
My wife and her sister joined me on Piños and Sawmill during a week in which we hiked in southern California for three consecutive days. They weren't much interested in the county highpoints and 2000-foot prominences, but I enjoyed not having to solo them. Beautiful weather with cold northwesterly winds.
This was Califonia County Highpoint #30. I grabbed Sawmill from Mount Pinos after having done Caliente Mountain the day before. A great day with patches of snow, clear sky and perfect temps.

Two for the day
It is an easy thing to get Mt. Pinos and while I was there I felt it would be an easy thing to go get Sawmill Mtn as well. It would have been easy had it not been so stinking hot. Probably a 100 degrees and for a northwest boy like myself, that was a bit toasty.
If you do Pinos, do Sawmill as well, its a natural.
