:P
Wow.. There actually is a log for Sentinel Dome. :P
Unbeatable view from the top - it completes the scene from Glacier Pt but minus the crowds.

A fun and informative hike with an interpretive ranger. Bagged Ostrander Rocks afterward.

Unspoiled Views
I have sat on top several times, but this day was special. I was alone for about an hour, the unspoiled views all to myself.

nice time
Still hurting from a car accident, I had a nice stroll over to Sentinel Dome from the parking lot on the easy to follow trail. The views were great. The traffic on Glacier Point Road to get there...not so great.

Majestic View
I went from the Taft Point Fissures to Sentinel Dome which is 2.3 miles. The trail is very beautiful, and it runs along the edge of Yosemite Valley. The trail ends at the scenic Sentinel Dome which features 360 degree views of Yosemite valley.
Independence Day hike, from Happy Isles > Nevada Falls > Panoramic Trail > Glacier Pt > Sentinel Dome > 4 Mile Trail. Amazing hike although valley views were obscured by smoke from a maintenance fire.

Great View of the Valley
Took a stroll over here to escape the buses full of tourons at Glacier Point. Stunningly beautiful.

Incredible views
Although the views were just breathtaking, the 9-mile approach was definitely lengthy... Departed the roadway parking lot at 16.31, & returned around 18.37. Took an interesting 4th-class variation to the L of centre when coming from the road. Turns out the R-hand side is really mellow. One of the (if not THE) best views in The Valley- one can see everything from the Cathedral Rocks to El Cap to Yosemite Falls (all 3 of them) to Conness to Half Dome to Lyell to Ritter to..... Combination of snow, flowing falls, & solitude (I assume that the place is a relative madhouse in the summer) made this excursion particularly rewarding.
Up from the Valley and then over to the Dome. One of my favorite trails in Yosemite. i love that view from the top of the Dome

From Glacier Point
While checking out Glacier Point, we decided to hike up to Sentinel Dome. Several spots along the trail with awesome views. One of many great hikes in Yosemite.

Easy but worth it...
After a long hike the day before (North Dome) we wimped out on another long hike, so we drove around to the trail from Glacier Point Rd. The best views of the valley imo.

I made it......so I might as well sign it. Want to really punish yourself? Tack this onto a trip up the Four Mile Trail and then descend the Pohono Trail. Nasty!
