Best Yellowstone Hike
This is one of the better Yellowstone hikes out there. The trail goes through such varied scenery and ecosystems. We saw a lot of wildlife too! Great hike, great views
loop hike starting from Mammoth campground & down to catch Clagett Butte trail ("lollipop"). Saw grizzly bear sow with 2 cubs, 2 groups of mountain goats. Afternoon rain showers, floral display at its peak! this day & day before somewhat hazy due to wildfires in Washington state.

Glen Creek
Climbed with Geoff on a whacky weather day. Good 12 mile round trip easy hike.

Great winter climb!
Climbed up Sepulcher on New Year's Eve from Mammoth. Perfect day for climbing: not a cloud in the sky and no wind. Took me about 2.5 hours to get to the east ridge then another two hours to cover the last 1000 feet. That east ridge is basically one giant snow drift haha.

October ascent
Climbed on an outstanding cool and cloudless day. Did a counter-clockwise loop, going up from near Liberty Cap, and descending to the Sportsman Lake trail. Poor signage and a myriad of faint trails resulted in a 3/4 mile walk along the highway back to our vehicle. Saw no one else on the trail the entire day.

Sepulcher Mountain
This was a great hike that was done as a clockwise loop. Went up the south ridge and down the other side over Snow Pass. I saw some elk and a red fox and got caught in a thunderstorm on the descent.

Many Times!Over the years working in the Park and hanging out in Mammoth early season, this was a great peak to warm up with.

beautiful! We had great weather and no crowds, a bit early in the season with significant snow on the east ridge for about a half mile.
