It belongs to the Ortles main ridge (Cresta Principale dell'Ortles/Ortlerhauptkamm) and it is the central summit of the Ortles trinity, consisting of: Ortles/Ortler, Monte Zebrù and Gran Zebrù/Königspitze, going from North to South.
