Fourth peak of five on my San Bernardino Mountain ridge traverse from Forsee Creek. Peaks like this that are just a pile of rocks always fascinate me...Beautiful, enjoyable hike! Cool, safe water flowing from Trail Fork Spring too.
Windy and cold as the storm moved through. Nice above the clouds.

Sorry, I am just not entertained by the forest until it opens up around 10K'. Zoned out until I reached Anderson Flat; really dug the rocks up Pantyshield....I mean, Shields. Interesting summit. Not a soul in sight either but I did have a feathered friend come check me out. A Cooper's Hawk sat not 10' away on a branch and watched me watch him for a moment. What a thrill!
