What a most interesting peak. The terraces look like a huge amphitheater. Are they ledges that one could hike across? Thanks for sharing.

To my knowledge, they were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s-1940s to prevent erosion. They can be seen in other areas of the Wasatch Mountains as well. The terraces could be used to hike across if you want to.
