North Face, East Ridge

Shkhara this year is not very kind to climbers... From the camp on the snow Pillow (4100)where we spent two days waiting for the weather we tried the Ridge but have to turn back somewhere 4800 because first of very tricky snow ridge conditions - snow blades everywhere, 70 sm deep fresh snow. And then the weather changed, visibility got worse, snowfall and strong wind began. We scarsely had the time to reppel down to the camp before the real hurricane begins - terrible wind, thunderstorm and heavy snowfall. So we got down

North Rib

This Year I tried North Rib (Tomaschek route). We did two third of the route - but on the second day of climbing the weather got worst.
North Rib is really dangerous - stonefall is terrible!!! But I highly recomand it! Real classic! I'll be there soon.

Southern Face, B. Khergiany Route

Tried the Face but not successfully. The weather made it too difficoult even to start climbing. Too much snow on the upper part of the Route and as consequence - avananches and stonefall going down all the time.
