Thanks! And they certainly are. ~1500' is about the best elevation right now. Sheephole Pass in particular was astounding.
Thanks for posting the trip report. I really enjoyed reading it. I was just south of death valley for month a couple summers ago and it was a surprisingly beautiful area.
