Approach
Start point is car park "Panoramabad" in Lermoos.
Route Description
Follow the path to Tuftlalm (see route "from Lermoos")
Behind the Tuftlalm, follow the moderate steep path in direction Upspitze. You reach the point 1852, green saddle between Upspitze and Lichtenberg (nice rest place). Turn to the right. The path becomes very steep and the height gain is fast. You reach the summit of Upspitze. Follow the sharp, with stone fields covered ridge the Daniel. Summit cross.
I advise to use this route as descend route.

Tetescopic poles are usefull.
