This is the impressive 300 feet spire of St Mary's Church in Shrewsbury. The church is now redundant and is looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust. The church is famous for its medieval stained glass and its spire a landmark for many miles is said to be the third highest England. If you visit Shrewsbury you have to visit this church.
