East Ridge
We started the route by heading up the small drainage between Woodland lake and skyscraper res... Once on the east ridge, the route (as indicated by another) was class 2... Some large rock pile traversing but no real scrambling and/or exposure... The route past the 12,400ft high point cannot be seen from the east but is more class 2 all the way to the high plateau that takes you over to skyscraper peak. Great views of Devil's thumb, Jasper and Storm lake(s) areas on this route...

Skyscraper Peak
October 5 2024
Kim and I climbed Skyscraper Peak together. It would have been a really nice day, but it was super windy. We also noticed that Challenger and Skyscraper Glaciers were nearly gone!

I climbed Skyscraper Peak from Rollins Pass. It's a pretty easy climb, but very scenic. The weather forecast wasn't promising, but the weather held. There were clouds coming up the east side of the mountains, but it was mostly clear to the west.
I saw several people skiing Skyscraper Glacier.

Climbed on the way back to Rollins Pass from Devils Thumb/Devils Thumb Pass. Nice and easy peak.
