This is the slab that marks the access point for east-side crags such as God's Area, Whale's Lip, and Eagle's Gift. The view here is from the Ridge Trail as one hikes toward the summit. Hike down the slab and look for a faint use trail leading into the brush, and head left for Whale's Lip and Eagle's Gift and right for Upper God's Area.
A very short distance past this slab is a tree with three trunks (on the left side of the trail as one continues to the summit), about 50 yards beyond which is the bowl leading down to Reflector Oven, Lower God's Area, and the Wall That Dreams Are Made Of.
If you are approaching Reflector Oven, Lower God's, and Wall from the summit and pass the above-mentioned tree and then reach this slab, you have gone around 100 yards too far.
