"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Cherry Creek 10459I had always referred to this as Cherry Creek 10459, a peak that is an error range peak on peakbagger.com and a p2k on Lists of John. It all has to do with what concept of prominence is being used. Don't ask, it gets confusing sometimes. Regardless, Dennis Poulin needed this one to set up finishing all of the Nevada P2K's and error range peaks in the state. The last one would be Toiyabe Dome but that is covered in a trip report elsewhere. We utilized information from Adam Helman who accessed this summit from the south near Currie Pass. For us it was a 6 mile round trip with 2345' of elevation gain. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed visiting this one.
