"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

From ShermanCame down Sherman's south face and ascended the north face of Snow Peak. Really nice peak, but a pretty thick bushwhack as soon as you leave the trail. It doesn't last terribly long though. Came down the west face and rejoined the trail to avoid the bushwhack.

Meeting the KlenkmeisterCame up the north ridge and met Klenke at the summit. He brought beer so I'm voting for him now in the next election. On to Sherman afterwards.

Winter RouteDid a winter trek with four back-country ski buddies. Tough breakable crust at the top. One of the guys sprung an ankle. He and two others took the trail back down. Mils and I dropped off the sunrise slope and skied to the road below the Hwy summit. We all met up later for hot toddies in the parking lot.

Via Sherman PeakSome definite thrash and bash from Sherman's summit. Quite a large cairn on Snow.
While trying to take a nap in the parking area after the effort, some Captain Greymatter who finished his day decided to smack his hiking shoes together several times and talk up a storm. Knucklehead.
