O My!

I love your work! ot enough just to photograph a peak! This is a great and informative shot, especially for those who have never done this trail. I've a friend who swears there are no cables on this trail; makes me wonder if ever he really did do the climb...

I work for REI and I have people come in constantly saying that their heading to go climb Mount Whitney. I tell them about the current conditions and they usually are very astonished that there is still snow and ice up there. I also warn them about the constant afternoon thunderstorms and they never believe me about that. "You’re kidding a snow storm in August!?" It's actually kind of scary that such naive people are headed for such a dangerous place.
