So. Cal. Snow & Desert
This picture illustrates an interesting anomaly about Los Angeles. Here I am on the trail up to Mt. Baden Powell where there is new snow, problems with post holing, ice, cold, etc., and now you are looking North toward desert where it is dry and hot. This is a place where you can ski and surf or go to the desert in the same day.
