Wonderful page! I think you described the character of this nice mountain perfectly. Now I hope that people will add also some route descriptions. Thanks also for putting my pic on a so prominent place :-)
Forgotten mountain? I don´t think so, it´s just not suitable for the mainstream of hikers and for modern climbers. And let me say that fortunately one can still find in the Dolomites less frequented mountains, like Sorapiss and "King of Dolomites" Antelao!
after having climbed the 3 pillars of Tofane (the first was very crowded) I enjoyed the loneliness of Sorapìss (fine "passeggiata di croda") and I'm surely not worried if some big and fine mountain are neglected ... I find very charming to be on a mountain that, apart some rare cairns, looks almost virgin ...
