South America Route

Here is a closer look at the lower half of the route. You can see the climber's trail that ascends the mountainside part of the way to the snowbank called South America. The trail disappears before it reaches the snow, but the way is still obvious. Above the snowbank, begin angling slightly east (right) as you continue to climb. Glacier National Park, MT-- July 2011
