Long drive in
My wife and I did the long 4x4 drive in from Clarkia via the rough ridgetops. Found a much nicer drive out via St Joe's river. Lots of Huckleberries, nice area. Completed Idaho's daunting South Butte, South Mountain, Big Southern Butte Trifecta!

Nice Easy Hike
28 minutes from the car to the top. Nice and easy. I stayed on the summit for about 45 minutes then came down but wasn't ready to drive back on that road just yet. So I tagged Jug Rock on the way out. Nice views back from there.
