South Couloir Belay

Mike Byorick belaying us up the rock face of the South Couloir of Mt Woodrow Wilson in 1969. The snow was so rotten that even good crampons would not hold so we abandoned the snow and climbed the rock face of the couloir. That rock is not much better than the rotten snow.
