"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

From Longley PassPart of an overnight backpacking trip, camping at Lake Reflection. Longley Pass had a large cornice which we were able to avoid by climbing some class 3 rock, as advised by Secor. We wanted to bag Brewer as well, but thunderstorms forced us down.

From Longley PassJust needed a peak to bag. Week number 3 of a 7 week trip. It was hard to locate the true summit on the long jagged summit ridge.
