From Red Tahquitz  Sucess!

Part of a 6-peak car shuttle loop including Tahquitz, Red Tahquitz, Antsell, Apache, and Spitler. It took a lot longer to get from Red Tahqitz to South(well) peak than it looked like it would due to the windy nature of the PCT.

Desert Divide - North  Sucess!

Though we were running way behind on time, the ease of our fourth peak emboldened us with false hope that we could finish the Divide. The next peak would prove us wrong. With Bob Burd.

From Humber Park  Sucess!

Headed here after tagging Red Tahquitz. Nice easy peak to bag from the PCT.

Headed from the summit to Antsell Rock and hit my turnaround time while still on old Sam Fink Trail.

Disclaimer re: HPS guide - If approaching via Humber Park count on 10 miles one way to Antsell; more if adding Red "T" or South.

Shakedown Cruise...  Sucess!

Warm and dusty circuit....all part of a pre-Sierra Challenge shakedown to see where the old bod is at. Found some fun 3rd and 4th class rocks on the southwestern side of the summit.

Winter Ascent? In the High 60's and 70's!  Sucess!

Deb and I went up on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Man It was a hot day that felt like summer or spring! Some hikers we saw were making tea on PCT, which we thought was quite odd due to high temps.

Summer in Winter!  Sucess!

Beautiful and relaxing hike to South Peak on a perfectly summer day in February. Sure, there was plenty of snow on the PCT, but no crampons were needed, in fact a jacket wasn't even required. Awesome views and fun scrambling around summit.
