south rabbit ear
Great hike. Seems from the register that this peak is rarely climbed. I was the first one to sign it in 2019. Very nice class 3 at the top. To stay out of the brush/thorns/cactus stay in the stream bed all the way to the south rabbit ear /rabbit ear plateau saddle and then cut over to the slot leading to the south rabbit ear sumit block.
Nice peak. Brushy approach, and super windy up top. Much more interesting to hike up the canyon in late monsoon season a day or two after a large storm and have large volumes of water flowing down stream.

A climb I'll not soon forget
The four of us had a great day in the Organs. On the way down we had an encounter with some large boulders that left our party bruised and battered, but everyone made it down safely.
