Southern Gallatins from Bunsen

Southern Gallatins from Bunsen

This is a view from the summit of Bunsen Peak, looking west at the Southern Gallatin Range. Enlarge to see more clearly. From left, they are: Mount Holmes dominating the group that includes Dome Mountain, with White Peaks and Echo Peak behind. Antler Peak. The dominating shape in the foreground of Quadrant Mountain, with Bannock Peak hiding behind on the left. Little Quadrant Mountain in the middle ground, with very little snow, with snow-covered Gray Peak and Joseph Peak behind it. On the right, the large, snow-covered mass of Electric Peak, with many other peaks behind it on the left. And Sepulcher Mountain anchoring the right hand side of the picture. Gardners Hole is the basin in the foreground. Photo taken June 2009.
