Split Mountain

NW slope of Split Mountain from the top of Birch Mountain. As beautiful this side of Split looks from here, when on it, there is no perspective. As a matter of fact, when I was hiking that slope, I could not even see the summit until I was very close to it. The way up this slope starts where the patches of snow are in the center left of this picture and follows on the left side of the mountain.
