South West Face
I parked my Jeep at N. Taylor Creek trailhead and followed that trail till I came to a big open meadow. Then I left the trail and followed some streams up the SW face till I got to the ridge then followed that to the summit. Lots of fun and brought my Husky pup who made it as well.

Good Winter Outing
Nice day with Aaron and Prakash. We were part of a big group from 14ers.com, but since we started an hour behind them we decided to break our own trail up a different ridge. As usual the views of the Sangres in their winter glory were impressive. Long day as a daytrip from Denver, but doable.

Scree!
Hiked up to Lakes of the Clouds the night before. Went up the side of the connecting ridge just southwest of the lakes. Tons of scree. Once you get to the top its a fun, quick little ridge hop to the summit.

South Ridge via Lakes of the Clouds
I had hiked up to Lakes of the Clouds on 3 weeks ofter shoulder surgery and cam back 5 weeks later to do the peak. I found a section of an improved trail on the way up. It soon disappeared I assume due lack of use and maintenance.

NE Ridge
NE Ridge via Gibson TH w/ shanahan96. Not much snow, no need for snowshoes and the ridges were mostly dry except for a thin cover. Cold and windy, but when is it not at 13k in December!

West Face / SE Ridge
9/16/06 - From Gibson TH. Intended on climbing the south ridge, but horrible winds forced me to reconsider. Took a more direct line up a very shallow couloir on the west face. It was composed of loose talus, but worth the trade off with the wind. Topped out just north of the summit and it was an absolute battle with the wind to the summit. Went on to UN 13524 and intended on continuing to UN 13513 but the wind simply wouldn't allow me to pass near the saddle!
3/3/12 - Southeast ridge from Gibson Creek. Deep snow, typical Sangre sugar.

South Ridge via Lakes of the Clouds
Climbed with Ben on the first day of climbing on our 12 day Sangre de Cristo trip. We hit the South Ridge just as a small storm hit making it a fun finale to the day with plenty of exposure and a class 4 move. We also climbed Pt 13,524 that day.
