Fun Scramble and Great Views
Parked on Bogus Basin Rd and ran on a relatively flat trail through the trees to the base of Stack Rock. The scramble up to the top was on granite and I found solid hand and footholds. I had excellent views of the Treasure Valley below. Love this one so much, I will certainly make this an annual adventure. I logged 8.82 miles and 1,227 feet of gain.

Fun hike, airy scramble!
Great hike with a group of friends from church. 4 of us made the class 4 scramble to the summit. Trip Report

Fun day hike!
Hike was tricky when just going for it but with recent upgrades I'm guessing it's much more well marked! Fun to climb up the rocks but probably is class 3ish but can be harder depending on the route you choose!

Nice little hike
This is a sweet little hike from Bogus Basin Road. It was super windy, so we didn't tempt trying to reach the top, but it's on the agenda.

Back in the day
The route on the west side was the second multi-pitch climb that I ever did. We did a few other routes on the north and east side that were short but much harder.

Great view of the valley
This was a fun hike with Jerrod and Jonathan. We were roughing it for the first bit trying to find the trail but we eventually found the sign and followed the trail up from there. The scramble to the top of the rocks was a bit tricky in spots but all very doable. I would say it would make a great 4th of July hike. The view of the fireworks would be amazing.

Wet feet
Josh, Jonathan and I parked on the Bogus Basin road and headed west toward the stacked rocks. We were a little lost, but knew the general direction based on prior map study. We found the rock sign saying welcome to Stack Rock, and knew we were in the right area. We found the granite shortly after, guided each other to the summit, and signed the log.
On the way back we ran into some deep snow on an exploratory venture north of point 5886. No gaiters meant wet feet... ugh. After finding the car, we slid down to Flying Pie for some pizza and hoppy refreshment. We had a good first trip of 2014!

Summer breeze
One section was a tricky scramble, making this fun little ascent memorable.
I've hiked there lot's of times and have worked my way up the rock a little ways, but have never topped out on it. I would think some amount of roped climbing and trad pro would be smart. It appears to be an exposed class 4 to top out around a reachy summit block.
