Good chance I'll never climb with a guide as a partner again. Negatives outweighed the positives... Anyway, still cool to get to the top of this thing. Amazing formation & surroundings! Hard climbing, more reminiscent of the Fishers (although way better quality rock) & Arches than the splitter Creek cracks I'd been on for the prior 2 weeks. Would be nice to return with a friend & try to free in the future.

Standing Rock
Sick climb with Noah. Bivied at the base. 3 pitches. Great route, awesome summit.

Maybe the second youngest to do it behind Stewart Green. Maybe the youngest to be close to freeing it. Age does not matter though. What matters is the adventure, partnership, challenge, and remoteness. This climb had it all, descent runouts, hard moves, exposure, not trustworthy rock mentally. Truly a great day out and one I will remember for the rest of my life. This place holds a special memory in my life. Especially sleeping at the base. Thanks David for joining!
