Steep Mountain (UT)

Not all that far from View BM (about 1 1/2 miles), Steep Mountain is a nice additional hike to include with a visit to View BM. This adds about three miles to the View BM hike or done separately from the View BM trailhead, it is five miles round trip. Not a lot of snow for Feb, but still enough to make you earn the hike. Not deep enough for snowshoes but not quite firm enough for boots. This pic taken from the summit of Peak 6476 2-6-12
