Drove all the way to the lookout, hit snow shortly before the top. Had no problems. "Bagged" this lookout, which gave great views of a very fresh snowfall on the surrounding mountains. Went on to bag point 3750 directly after this, and then headed towards Tibbets for a three peak day.

Unexpected Night Hike
While driving out to Okanogan County for the weekend, I decided to take what I had planned to be a brief detour at Steliko Lookout.... I had wanted to see the sunset from there. Although the road conditions were not terrible, I found my passenger car struggling to get up the steep dirt road and the tires even started to sink a few times. Several large rocks were also concerning, and with no place to turn the car around I had to take a long time backing it down the road. By the time I had backed-down the road, it was already dark.
I parked near the entrance gate at the bottom and headed up the road on foot, which took extra time I was not expecting and I only got to see the lookout building with my headlamp and my camera flash. Boring road-walk and no views, but yet another fire lookout reached.
Afterwards, I drove to Chelan for a night hike of Bear Mountain and then camped-out for a few hours at the Chelan Wal-Mart, prior to continuing north to Okanogan County and spending much of the next two days peakbagging with Klenke and Gimpilator.

Steliko
Drove up the road in my Accord. For whatever reason, the lookout was unlocked so that was cool.
