Used the boulder creek approach to stone ponds. It took about 5-6 hours to get to the ponds. I did not want to have to find my way back down, so I climbed over St Peters Gate and decended by the Putvin Trail. It took 10 hours and was not worth the effort. Next time I will get to Stone ponds from Lena Lake and take more than one day.

Re: Hard RoutfindingHa! That's a refreshingly honest review of the Boulder Creek approach. Beta usually isn't that forthcoming. Thanks.
