Unfortunately, I'm not sure for the name of the peak.
More on the left are Mer de Glace and Les Drus, but for these peaks on this photo, I'm really not sure.

Because place where they are placed is a bit higher than trail and quite exposed to winds.
So in winter winds probably blow snow and leave these pyramids visible.

These mini stone towersremind me of the stone towers I saw near the mouth of the Khumbu glacier, just before getting to Leboche in the himalayas. Those were memorials to the sherpas who had lost their lives on Everest. These stone towers could have the same significance.
