Who is that handsome devil in your signature photo?
I counted 5 spelling/grammar errors. Let's see if brenta finds them all. ;- ) Although one was in your summitlog so that shouldn't really count. Ha ha.
I'm headed home soon and will post some more photos tonight. Are you going to post a route page as well? I know it's just an easy hike up from the parking lot but it would be nice to mention items about the route that would let people know they are on the right one (like the stick teepees, the viewpoint off the main trail and the fact that the trail drops as it rounds the north side of the pinnacle). You probably are just in the process of writing that though.
Cool. I'll be looking forward to the Hogback page. I have some decent shots of the summit from both Stowe and the mound on the ridge we hiked up to from there.
Well, I'm off to lift some large triangular weights now!
Very nice start to your page! The only suggestion I have is to add some route information. Your pictures were awesome and what you've got so far is great! Thanks for posting and have a good one!
Just to let ya know, you won't here any "fire" from me. If your page has the main ingredients and your description is thorough, like yours, I'll give ya four stars! You did a very nice job!
We planned the trip to be in peak color season and we got lucky with the weather this year. I highky recommend it - if you like that whole color thing as the mountains themselves are pretty tame.

Untitled CommentYeah, I'm posting the route, just didn't have the time yesterday.
It appears Hogback Mountain is the entire ridge we were walking on, but the summit was where we hiked to.
Brilliant! Hep Hoe!

Untitled CommentYeah - I knew I would catch some flak for not having a route but didn't have the time at work to put it up immediately.
Got a route up now so hopefully that will quiet the crowd.
Thanks for the high marks on the vote.
